What Analytics is

Analytics is your Google Analytics and Search Console turned into a plan: which posts to update, whether your updates worked, and what to promote. It's included with Food Blog Studio.

Who has it

  • Everyone on the Food Blog Studio plan, including the free trial, and Food Blog Coaching members.
  • On Food Blog Studio Writer? You can try Analytics free. Click Start my free trial in the banner at the top of the app. See Manage your plan.

What each tab is for

Click Analytics at the top of the sidebar. The tabs run across the top of the page. On a small window they show as icons only.

  • Home: your blog at a glance, and what to do this week. See Analytics Home.
  • Traffic: how your whole blog is doing for any dates, and what changed. See Traffic.
  • Posts: every post with traffic, and each post's own page. See Posts and What's on a post's page.
  • Promotion: what your readers wanted at this time last year, so you can plan social media posts, emails, and pins. See Promotion.
  • Updates: log what you changed on a post and see if it helped. See Updates.
  • Opportunities: which posts to update, and why. See Opportunities.

Traffic, Promotion, Opportunities, Updates, and each post's page offer a 1-minute tour the first time you open them. You can take any tour again from App Tours in Getting started.
