What each tool needs

Some tools work straight away and some need your blog or profiles first. This cheat sheet shows which is which.

"Blog connected" means connected in Personalization with at least one post ticked. A sitemap works too for links, but @ mentions need the WordPress connection.

Tips for the best results

  • Leave the Personalization toggle on. When it's red with a ring around it, the writers use your blog, samples and profiles. See The Personalization toggle.
  • @ mention your posts instead of pasting recipes. Type @ in the message box and pick the post.
  • Give it specifics. Personal stories, specific ingredients, real reader questions. Vague in, vague out.
  • Use real reader comments in the FAQ Writer. It answers the questions your readers actually ask first.
  • Keep your samples current. When your writing changes, swap in newer samples and click Regenerate from my samples on your Voice & Tone Profile.
  • Always make it yours. Review every draft and add your own touch before you publish. See Make every draft yours.
