When GA and Search Console are on different accounts
It's common for Google Analytics and Search Console to live on different Google accounts. Here's how to give one access to the other, so you can connect both.
Give one account access to the other, then connect with the account that can see both. You only need to do one of these, whichever is easier.
Option 1: Add access in Google Analytics
Sign in with the account that owns your Google Analytics.
- Go to analytics.google.com and click Admin (the gear, bottom left).
- Click Property access management, then the + button, then Add users.
- Enter your other Google email.
- Pick a role. Viewer is all Food Blog Studio needs. Since it's your own account, you can choose Administrator instead if you want full control from either email.
- Click Add.
Option 2: Add access in Search Console
Sign in with the account that owns your Search Console.
- Go to search.google.com/search-console and pick your site.
- Click Settings, then Users and permissions, then Add user.
- Enter your other Google email, choose Full, and click Add.
Already connected?
Go back to Personalization, Analytics. If Which one is your blog? is showing and the missing property or site is now in the list, pick it and click Save. If it isn't there, click Disconnect and connect again with the account that can now see both.
